This week, Eddy talked on the Outward Discipline of Service. Our big idea is that we become like Christ when we embrace a life of humble, Spirit-empowered service for the glory of God and for the good of others. When the world teaches that greatness comes from power, status, or being served; the Kingdom of God tells us that greatness is found in humility, sacrifice, and serving others. We serve because Jesus modeled service in the grandest way: through His sacrifice on the cross. He gave His life up for us, so we give our life to serve others.
