This week’s spiritual discipline is on studying the Word of God. The Word of God transforms us as it originates from God and carries His authority. Therefore, it’s the Final Authority. Scripture directs our belief and behavior, not culture, opinion, or preference. The Bible tells one unified story of all of humanity’s sin and God’s redemption. It is clear and sufficient; God communicates how to obey. The Bible is trustworthy and reliable.
